Elena is Head of Product at Brainly, which is transforming 60M and growing students’ learning experience through global community, informative content, and personalized education.
Previously held product leadership roles in news media. Most recently acted as VP of Product at Vocativ which launched the pilot of its just-renewed series ‘DarkNet’ on Showtime earlier this year. Formerly Director of Product at The Huffington Post which acquired her first company Adaptive Semantics, and was later bought by Aol. Both acquisitions resulted in great stories, close friends, and a few war wounds.
When not obsessing about product, she enjoys climbing, volunteering at city gardens and green markets in New York. She is currently learning some Polish, and will exchange beer for vocabulary and pronunciation guidance.
